Jakarta Provincial Government together with central government, West Java Provincial Government and Banten are cooperating in handling water crisis. The handling will use reservoir, lake, and embung.

Jakarta Head Dept. of Water Management, Teguh Hendarwan, said the plan will involve Gerakan Nasional Kepedualian Mitra Air (GNKMA). There are 105 reservoirs, lake and embung in Jakarta.

Kemang Village Water Reservoir will Be EvaluatedAccording to him, the plan will start this year. As the early stage, one reservoir, lake or embung in an area can be processed directly.
“It’s all about how to preserve water during rainy season, and get the water in dry season,” he added.
